KING DAVID WINDOW
KING DAVID WINDOW
King David is located in the South Transept of Ascension Memorial Church in Ipswich, Massachusetts. The window matches in style a companion window of St. Agnes in the transept. King David holds his harp while grasping his sword. He is depicted as a shepherd boy on a vessel at his feet and the Ark of the Covenant is located at the top of the architecture framing the figure. The detail in the window is rendered with traditional vitreous and enamel fired glass paints.
