All of the glass pieces in the Archeology window have spent part of their life underground. The colored chips were dug up from the waste heap of the Sandwich Glass Factory by the workers of the Connick Studio in the 1940's. Some of the clear pieces were dug up in the backyard of our studio in Somerville. Check out the dates on many pieces and look for Christ's crucified arms.
