Einstein and companion windows in place

Albert Einstein keeps watch over this mud room in Arlington, Massachusetts. These are our studio's eighth and ninth windows in this one house that is filled with bright, quirky, fun and inspirational decoration from floor to ceiling.

The sidelight was a gift from Rebecca to Doug for their nine years together. Crossing the window at a slight angle is the angle of declination of the ecliptic on the day of their anniversary. Jupiter and Saturn are featured most prominently as they were easily seen in the sky during the project. Below Saturn at the bottom of the window is a glass elevator number 9 representing Pluto, their ninth anniversary and coincidentally our ninth window in the house.
