Marconi's Garden adorns the front door of the Berman residence in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Marconi, the inventor of the radio, is immortalized by the old time radio composition on the inside of the trellis. The shape evokes an old time radio, the three trees represent the speakers, and the bench is the tuner and dials.

The Marconi theme is inspired by Doug Berman's career as the producer of NPR's Car Talk and Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me.
