This window at St. Mary's Orthodox Church in Cambridge, MA had suffered greatly at the hands of a marauding band of "restoration experts". The previous restorers, along with applying protective glazing, attempted to rewaterproof the window in situ. The waterproofing seeped in-between the multiple layers of glass in this American Opalescent style window. The "goopy" line appearance was the least of the problems; the waterproofing between the layers glued the layers of glass together. After replacing mismatched previous repairs, repositioning out of place and poorly oriented glass and releading the entire window the positive aesthetic results are glaring in these before and after photographs.
