CLASSES

Spring has finally sprung...so that means it's time for Spring Classes!

We have been super busy on projects at the Studio and we can finally see light at the end of the tunnel. In other words...free bench space to be able to offer another set of classes

As always, I'll be offering the basic Beginners I class on Monday nights. This class is meant for anyone new to stained glass, hobbyists with limited skills or students who haven't studied with me before who want to acquire a solid foundation in glass cutting, layouts, pattern making, copper foiling, assembly/soldering and basic lead frame making. Learning these fundamentals will allow you to progress into some of the more complex techniques that I offer in more advanced classes.

On Tuesday nights, I'm offering a whole new idea for a class~From Roundel to Panel. As many of you know, I am also a glass blower and make my own unique hand-blown roundels. This class will offer the opportunity to select a roundel and build a beautiful hanging panel around it. We'll explore how to use the color wheel to create a combination of harmonious color to compliment the roundel. As a bonus, we'll make some fused glass jewels to include in your project. This is not a beginner class so you must have already take a Beginner I class with me to be eligible to take this class.

On Saturdays, I will again offer the Makers Class. Students will be able to make a stained glass panel including anything we have done in a previous class.  Photo imaging, fusing, Tiffany-style or a roundel centerpiece are all techniques that can be part of your panel. This is a more advanced class and you must have taken my Beginner I class as a prerequisite.

By the way, my studio Facebook page continues to grow and if you want up-to-date information on what we are working on or informative videos or articles, "Like" my page and I promise not to overdo and inundate you with postings.
