***CORRECTION***The CUTTING WORKSHOP is $50
September is always the start of a new school year...and that means new stained glass classes!
As usual I will be offering my Beginner I class on Monday and Tuesday nights. If you have never taken a class with me this is the class for you. My beginner classes focus heavily on fundamentals that are a must if you want to advance your skills set. Many of my students take the Beginner I class several times and for those of you who have taken this class before you will be able to do a more complex project than the newbie beginners. All are welcome!
On Saturdays I will again offer the Makers Class. Students will be able to make a stained glass panel including anything we have done in a previous class. Photo imaging, fusing, Tiffany style or a roundel centerpiece are all techniques that can be part of the panel. This is a more advanced class and you must have taken my Beginner I class as a prerequisite.
I'm trying a few new things this year as well. A Cutting Workshop to learn and build the most critical skills necessary for stained glass. Also Open Bench time for students to come in and finish previous projects as well as Open Bench time at the end of the term to finish our projects. Open Bench time can be used as make up days for missed classes at no charge or to add more days to the class for $50 per Open Bench session. Also if you want to show your skills to the general public we are having one of our Makers class on September 28...which is Cambridge Open Studios. If you want to bring in a panel or two, I will make some space to display some of my students' work...of which I am super proud!
Please contact me if you are interested in attending any of these classes.
