The three center Chancel windows of St. Joseph's Church in Detroit, Michigan contain the earliest commission in the United States by the Franz Meyer of Munich Studio. The top and bottom ornamental quatrefoil areas are by a local studio, Freidrichs and Staffen. The Meyer studio added the figurative and adjoining canopy areas to the windows at a later date. The restoration included full releading and selected painted overplating in the figures.
